Oberheim OB-x
The Oberheim OB-x was not available on the market for very long, which gave it a certain legend status because of its collector rarity. Quite quickly it was replaced by the successor OB-xa. The synth series also had a hard time on the market next to the super successful Prophet 5 from Sequential Circuit. However, the synth could still make a place for itself in the music canon through its distinctive and thick sound that has evolved with the Ob-Xa.
