Korg Polysix

The Korg Polysix was one of the first affordable, fully programmable polysynthesizers. It was richer in terms of sound and features than the affordable Wasp and was also able to compete with the Prophet 5, Oberheim OB-Xa or Jupiter-8 due to its size and thick Sound. As with the Mono/Poly, the voices could be played in unison to create a fat lead sound with 6 oscillators. It’s not known for sure, but there are rumors that the polysix is one of the synths used for the intro in Europes Final Countdown.
