EEH / SSB Banana

The “Banana” is quite a special synthesizer with a unique genesis. Developed as a Collaboration between EEH (Electronic Engineering Hoffmann/Hopf, Wuppertal, Germany) and SSB (Synthesizer Studio Bonn, Germany), it was originally a small-batch production with locally oriented marketing, but at a price to compete globally.

The 6-voice polyphonic synth went directly into market against the Prophet-5 or the OB-Xa, holding up against them in points of sound and outfit, beating them at price point. Unfortunately, there are not many units left in circulation, so this synth can be considered super rare!
